Introduction to Queen’s Kitchen

With emphasis on authentic tastes and details, Queen’s Kitchen primarily aims to demonstrate to like-minded enthusiasts on how to create traditional Thai dishes for their loved ones. Focusing on the traditional and cultural values of each dish, we aim to bring the original taste back to today’s commercialized world of food and beverages.

Located at the heart of a shopping district on Canton Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Queen’s Kitchen is easily reachable for everyone from around Hong Kong. We would like to offer to cooking-enthusiasts not only a place to cook, but also an atmosphere to enjoy and create something they are proud to share. With dinning areas specially catered to members and students, we encourage everyone to learn from trials and errors, or even to explore new tastes with new combinations of textures.

Aside from Thai cuisine, we also have plans to invite guest chefs from around the world to share their creations here. Queen’s Kitchen vision is to enable cooking fanatics to absorb and spread the making of authentic Thai tastes whilst having an open mind to different ways of cooking. We also encourage food and beverage entrepreneurs with an interest in culinary art to share and explore with us their skills.

On top of teaching the art of Thai culinary, Queen’s Kitchen offers catering services for corporate events or private parties of up to 30 people capacity. Desired decorations, settings, or themes can be discussed with our team. The food served at the events will ideally be Thai cuisine as it is our core and strength, but we are also opened to customize dishes proposed by our clients. Selection of Thai cuisine can be discussed with our team.

Background of our Founder and Head Chef

Joanna Em-On Fu, the founder and head chef of Queen’s Kitchen, has developed a passion in cooking as a housewife. Married with three children, Mrs. Fu has been constantly exploring ways in how to cook healthily and efficiently. From cooking for her family to friends, Mrs. Fu never fails to please, entertain and enjoys effortlessly. Whilst her children were attending a non-profit international school in Singapore, Mrs. Fu had begun organising Thai food stalls and events for charitable purposes. With her children all grown up and succeed in life, Mrs. Fu is now on a mission to share her passion with each and every one of us. Making her dream come true with Queen’s Kitchen can also bring joy and happiness to you and your love ones.

Originally from Bangkok, Thailand, Mrs. Fu, a second generation Thai born Chinese, often has a variety of Thai cuisine dishes in her sleeves; from commercialized dishes in restaurants to more traditional and authentic ones savored by the locals. She has a desire to gather together all the culinary fanatics, or simply those who love to eat and learn. Queen’s Kitchen is a dream-come-true project as it will not only spread the making of fine Thai cuisine, but also encourages everyone to participate, share, engage, and exchange.

Whilst teaching the techniques in creating the authentic tastes, Mrs. Fu would also like to put emphasis on the importance of incorporating healthy ingredients into the cuisine. We have designed a program specifically catered for those who are interested in how to create Thai food that could also be beneficial to our health and well-being.

We are excited to share with you our experience of fine food creation and we look forward to have you cook with us!
